Assistant Fleet Sales Manager

Are you a motivated sales professional with a passion for building customer relationships and driving business growth? We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Fleet Sales Manager to support our Fleet department and play a key role in achieving sales and revenue targets.

In this role, you will work closely with the Fleet Sales Manager to develop and grow business opportunities with both new and existing clients while delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of the day-to-day operations of the Fleet department and contribute to its ongoing success through strong leadership, commercial acumen, and a proactive sales approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Fleet Sales Manager in achieving sales, revenue, and customer retention targets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing fleet clients.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive fleet sales growth.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and complete customer satisfaction throughout the sales journey.
• Assist with the day-to-day management and operational requirements of the Fleet department.
• Prepare and present fleet proposals, quotations, and sales solutions tailored to client needs.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, initiative, and a strong commitment to achieving results.
• Provide support, guidance, and assistance to team members as required.
• Manage and oversee department operations in the absence of the Fleet Sales Manager, ensuring seamless business continuity.

About You

• Proven experience in automotive sales, fleet sales, or business development.
• Strong customer relationship and account management skills.
• Results-driven with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Leadership capability with the confidence to step into a management role when required.
