What's the role?

• Source and create compelling content that informs and entertains readers

• Cover various rounds and topics.

• Work to rolling deadlines including some weekend shifts

• Research, interview and write stories that will engage readers in print and online

• Produce clean and accurate copy  

• SEO and headline writing 

• Constantly build your network in the community and use those contacts to find the next breaking story

Who are you?

• Passionate journalist 

• Proven track record of consistently breaking strong stories

• Strong interest in multimedia journalism

• Talented self-starter who can maintain high levels of personal organisation and time management while engaging as part of a team

• Strong writing and journalism skill set

• Understanding of data analytics, click rates, subscriptions, google analytics and social media analytics
