Centre Director

As Centre Director and Nominated Supervisor, you will take ownership of the centre's performance, culture and quality of service. During the pre-opening and establishment period, you will help recruit and develop the founding team, contribute to operational readiness and begin building strong relationships with families and the local Casula community. Once operational, you will lead the opening of a beautifully designed, purpose-built 90-place early learning centre in Casula, helping establish the founding team, shape the centre's culture, build meaningful relationships with local families and bring the Clever Cubs philosophy to life from day one.

• Leading, supporting and developing a high-performing team of early childhood professionals

• Ensuring children receive high-quality education and care in a safe, welcoming and inspiring environment

• Maintaining strong compliance with the National Quality Framework and all regulatory requirements

• Driving the centre's Quality Improvement Plan and supporting high-quality educational practice

• Managing staffing, occupancy, budgets and the overall operational performance of the centre

You are an experienced early childhood leader who brings together strong operational capability, sound regulatory knowledge and a genuine passion for people.

• A Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an ACECQA-approved equivalent

• Demonstrated experience as a Centre Director, Nominated Supervisor or senior early childhood leader

• Experience leading a medium-to-large early learning service

• A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework

• Proven ability to recruit, lead, develop and retain a capable and engaged team

• Confidence managing occupancy, staffing, budgets, compliance and relationships with families

• A positive and solutions-focused leadership style

• The ability to be approachable, responsive, honest and accountable

• A genuine commitment to high-quality early childhood education and care

• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

• Current Working with Children Check

• Current First Aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis qualifications
