0.3 FTE Primary Music Teacher - Commencing in 2027

This 0.3 FTE Primary Music Teacher position offers an exciting opportunity to inspire students through engaging and creative music education, nurturing their musical abilities, confidence and appreciation of the arts within a Christian worldview.

FCC is fully committed to the protection of children. Successful applicants must satisfy child protection screening and adhere to the College’s Child Protection Policy and Staff Code of Conduct. The successful applicant must hold a Working with Children Check, or be able to obtain one, and a National Police Clearance issued within the past three months.

Requirements

• A committed Christian who is actively involved in a local church.

• Registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA) and a current Working with Children Check.

• Relevant tertiary teaching qualifications, with appropriate experience or specialisation in Music Education.

• Experience teaching Music in a Primary school setting.

• An understanding of contemporary educational theory and practice and the ability to deliver engaging music education from a Christian worldview.

• A passion for developing students’ musical knowledge, creativity, confidence and performance skills.

• The ability to plan and deliver inclusive, engaging and developmentally appropriate music lessons across the Primary years.

• A willingness to contribute to the wider life of the College, including performances, assemblies and other College events.
