Manager – Corporate Development & Corporate Finance
Lead M&A, strategic partnerships, capital raising and funding initiatives across a growth-oriented platform.Broad exposure to corporate development, capital markets, FP&A and executive-level strategic decision making.Partner directly with the CFO, CEO and Board on the organisation’s most significant capital allocation and growth initiatives.
We are partnering with a high-growth business seeking to appoint a Head of Corporate Development & Corporate Finance. Reporting to the CFO, this role has responsibility for driving both organic and inorganic growth initiatives, leading corporate finance capability and supporting the execution of key strategic priorities across the business. The appointment reflects continued growth and an expanding pipeline of strategic transactions, funding initiatives and partnership opportunities.
The role offers a unique combination of M&A execution, strategic planning and capital markets exposure. Responsibilities span screening and evaluating acquisition opportunities, leading financial modelling and valuation work, overseeing due diligence processes and managing external advisors through transaction execution. The successful candidate will also play a lead role in debt and equity funding initiatives, lender and investor engagement, capital structure analysis and board-level reporting.
Candidates are likely to bring 7+ years of experience from investment banking, private equity, corporate development or broader corporate finance environments. A strong track record in transaction execution, advanced financial modelling and valuation capability, and experience across capital raising, structuring and strategic analysis will be highly regarded. Exposure to debt and equity markets, alongside relevant tertiary qualifications and professional credentials such as CFA or CA, will be viewed favourably.
