LV Mechanic

Mechanics - $40 - $60 PER HOUR

MONDAY - FRIDAY - ORANGE NSW

Air Dinkum Mechanical Services Pty Ltd is a locally owned and operated business in Orange NSW, and we're now looking for skilled and motivated mechanics to join our team.

No prior mining experience? No problems. If you're a qualified mechanic and can bring a strong work ethic, quality workmanship, and a willingness to learn and grow, along with a positive attitude, our experienced team will guide you with the rest.

This role would suit someone who has a high level of mechanical skills and experience or someone who is highly driven and willing to put their all into learning from our skilled team. You will be working predominantly on Toyota 79 series Landcruiser's and Hilux's however will have exposure to other LV's along with generators and machinery.

Your work will include everything from:

• General servicing and repairs

• Breakdowns

• Diagnostics and fault finding

• Full vehicle rebuilds

• Engine replacements

• Major mechanical repairs

• Mine-spec vehicle fit-outs

• Preventative maintenance and inspections

The position is:

• Permanent full-time

• Monday to Friday

• This role will be located between our workshop in Orange NSW and on site at Cadia Mine.

Requirements:

• Relevant Australian qualifications and licences relating to your trade

• Current drivers licence

• Willingness to undergo medical and Drug and alcohol

• Highly driven

• Positive team culture
