About the role
We are looking to expand our team and Pennicott Wilderness Journeys has a number of positions available with Pennicott Wilderness Journeys based from Hobart.
This role involves working on our boats and interacting with guests to ensure they have an enjoyable experience.
Applicants will also need to hold or obtain a Medium Rigid (MR) Licence and Public Passenger Vehicle (PPV) so they can drive the bus from Hobart, work as a Deckhand on the boat, and transport passengers back to Hobart.
Positions are available on a Full Time, Part Time or Casual basis. Casual daily rates for Deckhand/Bus Driver of $430 on weekdays and $572-$630 on weekends. We have work available all year round or we also have seasonal positions if that is your preference.
If you don't hold an MR licence already, we will pay the cost of your MR training course, Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP), Police Check and Public Passenger Vehicle (PPV).
It is essential that the applicant is available for some weekend work. The role will include working across our tours from Hobart to Bruny Island and the Tasman Peninsula. You could also be trained to work on our Tasmanian Seafood Seduction and Wineglass Bay Cruises tours if you are interested.
