About the role

Empress Waxing & Healing is a busy, welcoming home-based beauty studio located in Griffin, Brisbane. We provide professional beauty treatments in a calm, private and relaxing environment, with a strong focus on exceptional client care and personalised service. As the business continues to grow, we are looking for a qualified or recently qualified Beauty Therapist to join on a part-time or casual basis, with the potential for the role to develop into a permanent position for the right person.

Key responsibilities

• Female facial and body waxing

• Brazilian waxing

• Eyebrow waxing and sculpting

• Eyebrow and eyelash tinting

• Facial treatments and professional skincare

• Other beauty and wellbeing treatments offered within the studio

About you

• Qualified or recently qualified in Beauty Therapy

• Genuinely passionate about beauty, skincare and client care

• Calm, gentle and caring in approach

• Friendly, cheerful and naturally bubbly

• Professional and well presented

• Reliable, punctual and responsible

• Meticulous about hygiene, cleanliness and presentation

• Confident and comfortable communicating with clients

• Willing to learn and continue developing skills

• Comfortable working within a professional home-studio environment

• Meet and greet clients at the door

• Cleaning and stock handling
