Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Workday Financials Support Consultant to provide L2/L3 production support across the Workday Financial Management platform.The consultant will act as the functional lead for Financial Accounting, Banking & Settlement, Customer Accounts, Projects, Assets, Grants and Financial Reporting, ensuring stable operations, issue resolution, enhancement support and continuous improvement.The role requires strong business process knowledge, production support experience and the ability to work directly with Finance teams and technical teams to resolve incidents and implement enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial AccountingSupport Workday Foundation Data Model (FDM)Manage Ledger Accounts, Revenue Categories and Spend CategoriesSupport journals and accounting adjustmentsTroubleshoot accounting posting issuesSupport intercompany processingSupport allocations and settlementsResolve close-related issues.
Banking & SettlementSupport bank accounts and banking setupSupport payment processing cyclesTroubleshoot settlement runsSupport bank statement processingInvestigate reconciliation exceptionsSupport positive pay and payment file issuesCoordinate with banking providers.
Customer Accounts & RevenueSupport customer master dataSupport customer invoices and adjustmentsManage receivables processesResolve customer accounting issuesSupport revenue recognition processesSupport collections and aging activities.
Projects & GrantsSupport project setup and maintenanceSupport project costingSupport grant managementSupport award administrationTroubleshoot project accounting issuesSupport project reporting and allocations.
Business AssetsSupport asset acquisition and capitalizationManage depreciation issuesSupport asset transfers and retirementsPerform asset reconciliation activities.
