About the role
About Unison
Unison is a for-purpose organisation that works to reduce disadvantage and social exclusion for over 3,500 people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness each year. We believe that housing is the foundation on which to build a life of value but that a good life takes more than just housing - a good life takes place in a community. We’re also committed to building a thriving community internally for the people that work with us. We’re proud to offer contemporary people programs and benefits in line with our values, and we’re certified as a Great Place to Work.
About the role
The Property Compliance Officer ensures our properties adhere to relevant regulations and safety standards through coordinating compliance activities, diligent record-keeping, and risk identification. Your day-to-day will include coordinating inspections and repair works, preparing and submitting compliance reports, maintaining up-to-date records, certifications and permits, and proactively addressing issues before they escalate.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented and ideally has experience in property compliance, facilities management, or risk management. To thrive in this role, you will bring:
Administration experience with a proven ability to follow procedures through to completion.
Strong communication skills to work with multiple parties to schedule property compliance works.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Adaptability to manage changing priorities.
Proficiency with compliance tracking systems and Microsoft Office suite.
Why join us?
At Unison, we believe in rewarding your dedication with benefits that truly make a difference.
