About The Project

The Tram to Springvale Alliance (TSA), made up of BMD Constructions, CPB Contractors and Arup, is delivering the Eastern Freeway Upgrades between Tram and Springvale roads. The works include new express lanes, upgraded noise walls, and revitalised areas of the Koonung Creek Linear Park.

The project is being delivered under an Alliance Contract with Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA), forming a single, collaborative team.

As part of the North East Link Program (NELP), the upgrade will improve safety and efficiency for over 135,000 daily vehicles, remove 15,000 trucks from local roads, and reduce traffic across the Yarra River by 50,000 vehicles per day.

We’re completing the link together and bringing it home for our community.

The Role

As Earthworks Supervisor, you will lead day‑to‑day field operations across bulk earthworks, road formations, and general civil construction. You will work closely with engineers and project leaders to deliver high‑quality outcomes safely, efficiently, and in line with project targets.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate earthworks crews, subcontractors, machinery and materialsOversee bulk and detailed earthworks, cut/fill operations, subgrade prep and formation worksEnsure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standardsMonitor progress, identify risks, and support planning and sequencing of worksConduct daily pre‑starts, toolbox talks and site inspectionsMaintain accurate site records and support reporting requirementsFoster a strong team culture focused on collaboration, safety and performance

About You

Experience supervising earthworks on civil infrastructure projectsStrong leadership and communication skillsAbility to coordinate plant, crews and subcontractors in a fast‑paced environmentClear commitment to safety and proactive risk managementRelevant licences/tickets including White Card (additional supervision quals desirable)
