About the role
The Skin & Cancer Foundation Australia, trading as The Skin Hospital (TSH), is a recognised leader in dermatology services, renowned for its clinical excellence, research, and teaching. We are proudly affiliated with the University of New South Wales, The University of Sydney, St Vincent’s Hospital, and Westmead Hospital. It’s an exciting time to join TSH as we continue to expand our clinical, surgical, and research programs across our Darlinghurst and Westmead facilities.
About The RoleWe are seeking a Dermatology Research Fellow to join our growing Clinical Trials team. In this role, you will act as a sub-investigator, facilitating and coordinating clinical trials across a range of dermatological conditions for up to four days per week. The position is primarily based at Darlinghurst, with occasional travel to Westmead.
In addition to your clinical trials responsibilities, you may have the opportunity to participate in selected dermatology clinics and undertake independent or collaborative research projects as an honorary appointee.
This role involves close collaboration with a range of partners and stakeholders, including pharmaceutical sponsors, investigators, and patients. You will contribute to trial promotion, patient recruitment and examination, protocol adherence, and preparation of manuscripts for publication.
As part of The Skin Hospital’s commitment to education, you will have access to dermatology seminars and educational sessions to expand your understanding of the field. This role is ideally suited to a postgraduate doctor (PGY2+) interested in pursuing future accreditation as a Dermatology Trainee.
