Details: Are you an experienced fire management professional with a passion for bushfire risk reduction? We are seeking a motivated and capable leader to oversee the delivery of the Parks and Conservation Service (PCS) Prescribed Burning Program. You will lead a small, dedicated team responsible for planning and implementing prescribed burning activities across the ACT.
This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in protecting communities, infrastructure, and natural values through the delivery of strategic bushfire mitigation programs. You will lead operational planning, coordinate resources, build strong stakeholder relationships, and provide expert advice on prescribed burning and fire management.

Eligibility/Other requirements:
Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately until 30 January 2027 with the possibility of extension.This position is part-time at 22:30 hours per week and the full-time salary noted above will be pro-rata. An order of merit will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 month. Selection may be based on application only.
