Global Consolidation Services Pty Ltd (GCS) is a medium size Australian Owned NVOCC / Freight Forwarder based in Rhodes. Due to recent growth, we are looking for an Import Operator to join the National FAK team. This is a permanent full time position.

About the Role

This is a key role and would allow you to learn /upgrade your skills  while working with the team handling National Operations. You will be reporting to the National Imports Manager, while working within a small team and would be responsible for supporting the team on day to day basis. You will be dealing with all aspects of Import Operations.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Job Registrations

• Sea and Air cargo reporting

• Import Document Assessment

• Invoicing

• Facilitation of Import Ocean Freight shipments, LCL, FCL and FAK

• Liaising with shipping lines, co-loaders, airlines and transport carriers

• Co-ordinating with overseas agents and offices

• Dealing with customers locally and nationally

• Time Management

Skills & Requirement

• Minimum 3-4 Years local Australian experience gained working for a Consolidator / freight forwarder in Import Operations Role.

• Freight Forwarding experince is compulsory

• You must be able to work in a small team environment

• Strong customer service capabilities

• Cargo wise Software experience required

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Strong Attention to detail

• Excellent Interpersonal Skills

• Team Player with positive and can do attitude
