About the RolePacific Partnerships has an opportunity for a Senior Project Finance Analyst to join our Structured Finance & Strategic Projects team in North Sydney. Reporting to the Head of Structured Finance & Strategic Projects, this role will support the delivery of complex infrastructure, energy, and digital infrastructure transactions and be responsible for:Leading financial modelling and analysis, including developing, reviewing and maintaining complex project finance modelsSupporting the Project Finance Director across transactions and taking ownership of financial and commercial workstreamsUndertaking counterparty creditworthiness assessments and detailed risk analysisLeading investment screening, business case development and internal approvals processesManaging and coordinating due diligence processes across technical, legal, tax and commercial disciplinesPreparing and contributing to high-quality bid submissions and investment papersProviding project management support across the transaction lifecycle to ensure delivery against timelines and milestonesSupporting and progressively leading debt arranging, equity structuring and transaction origination activitiesAssisting with securing competitive financing and optimising capital structuresBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with financiers, advisors, investors and internal stakeholdersMentoring and supporting junior team members
About YouTertiary qualification in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline (postgraduate qualifications such as Masters of Finance or CFA are highly regarded)Minimum 3+ years’ experience in project finance, infrastructure, renewables, utilities or related sectorsStrong financial modelling capability, including building and auditing complex modelsExposure to debt and/or equity financing processesExperience in infrastructure sponsor/equity, project finance banking, financial advisory or funds management environments is highly regardedSound commercial acumen and understanding of project finance structures and transactionsStrong communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skillsProven ability to contribute to transaction execution and deliveryA proactive, solutions-driven mindset with strong attention to detail
