About the role
Roses in the Ocean is a national not for profit organisation founded on and operating through the lens of lived experience of suicide; we exist to save lives and reduce emotional pain. We seek to lead the significant cultural shift needed to save lives through harnessing the perspectives of all we represent, along with our own lived experience of suicide. With our actions driven and guided by those with a lived experience of suicide, we strive to innovate and transform suicide prevention, drive and deliver system reform and support organisations and government to effectively and meaningfully integrate lived experience expertise into suicide prevention.
Everyone who works within Roses in the Ocean has a lived experience of suicide which is defined as ‘having experienced suicidal thoughts, survived a suicide attempt, cared for someone through suicidal crisis, or been bereaved by suicide.
About the role
Reporting to the Projects and Workshops Specialist, you’ll work closely with the Projects and Workshops Coordinator and broader team to support the smooth delivery of workshops, consultations and related project activities. This will include coordinating communication with participants, facilitators, contractors and stakeholders; scheduling sessions and related meetings; preparing and sharing resources; maintaining systems and records; and supporting key pre- and post-workshop tasks.
Summary of responsibilities
Coordinating the end-to-end administration and logistics of workshops, consultations, webinars and community engagement activities.
Supporting participants, facilitators, contractors and stakeholders with timely communication, resources and information.
Managing participant payments, claims, surveys, evaluation activities and reporting requirements.
Maintaining project management and workflow systems, including tracking activities, milestones and key data.
Providing administrative support across a range of projects and bespoke client engagements.
Supporting Learning Management System (LMS) administration, reporting and user support.
Managing enquiries and shared inboxes, ensuring a positive and professional stakeholder experience.
Supporting licensing activities, Communities of Practice, newsletters and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
Working collaboratively across teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and enhanced ways of working
This role is permanent part-time, working 30 hours per week across a minimum of four (4) days.

Essential Skills & Experience
Lived experience of suicide and a deep understanding of its impact on families, workplaces, friends and communities.
Experience in workshop administration, training coordination, project support or a similar role.
Strong administration, organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when working with sensitive information.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
A current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).
Willingness to complete a National Criminal History Check.
Desirable Skills
Experience with Monday.com and SharePoint.
