Medical Receptionist

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced medical receptionist to join our friendly admin team in Treendale.

The position is casual one to two days a week with holiday/sick relief.

We need someone who can provide exceptional service to our valued patients and a high level of support to clinical staff.

Essential Criteria:

• Minimum 1-2 years experience in general practice reception
• Professional and courteous telephone manner
• Caring and patient focused attitude
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure, at times
• Advanced computer and keyboard skills
• Broad understanding of Medicare
• Flexibility to cover annual and personal leave as part of a team

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience using Best Practice or Genie software
• Knowledge of Accreditation process
• Current CPR Certificate
• Previous worked in a General Practice or medical setting
