Disability Support Worker

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT:

• Experience supporting participants with neurological conditions such as Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), Autism, Intellectual Disability or Mental Health.
• Demonstrated experience supporting participants with behaviours of concern.
• MUST be able to take client out on a wheelchair
• MUST have your own car and comprehensive car insurance (Vehicle Allowance will be paid)
• Full and Clean Australian Driver’s License
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Qualification or Studying Disability/Nursing/Social Work/similar OR has equivalent experience
• Working with Children Check (must be employee card, not volunteer)
• First Aid Level 2 (current)
• CPR (current)

We are a Registered NDIS Service Provider servicing all Melbourne Areas. We specialize in Disability Support Worker Services and we strive to make a difference to the Community and its People through our team of dedicated Support Workers.

In this job, you will be working with participants 1-to-1

Please note, we are not a RESIDENTIAL CARE CENTRE/UNIT. You will work at the participant's residence and provide 1-to-1 service.

YOUR ROLE

• To provide other support to participants as required such as:
• Personal administration
• Shopping for and with Participant
• Going out for community participation
• PCA - Shower, and other personal care assistance
• Talking and engaging with participant
• Help clean the house
