Centre cook

One Early Education is a 125 place centre located in Cranbourne. We are looking a centre cook who are passionate about working with children and providing high quality meals. This role is permanent part time and working Monday to Friday between 7.30am - 3.30pm. We are a welcoming and professional team looking for great cook to join us on our journey of becoming an exceeding team. If this is your career objective, then come and have a chat.

The cook position affords the successful candidate to cook and provide a healthy and dynamic menu that has been constructed by a Nutritionist and provides children with a range of really healthy foods throughout the day. 

ONE Early Education has a Commitment statement to the Child safe standards. ONE is committed to safety and wellbeing of all children and young people. We understand our responsibilities and statutory duty of care to comply with both the Victorian Child Safe Standards and the Reportable Conduct Scheme to build our capacity as an organisation to prevent and respond to allegations of child abuse. We have a dedicated Child Safety and Wellbeing Policy which explains our service’s approach to meeting the Standards. The successful applicant will;

• Current working with children's check

• Be a reliable, motivated and enthusiastic about food

•  Has food prep and food safety knowledge

• At minimum, food handlers cert.

You will be responsible for;

• Supporting a highly motivated and enthusiastic team

• Working as a team member to deliver a high-quality program that also includes high quality food.
