Mobile Plant Mechanic

Topex Mining Services is a rapidly growing contractor to the Mining and Civil Earthworks Industry across the Goldfields of WA and the Pilbara.  Our reputation and growth are driven by our experienced team, who have the expertise to tackle any job.

We are now seeking a qualified and experienced Mobile Plant Mechanic to join our growing team in Kalgoorlie on a FIFO roster from Perth. Both full-time and casual positions are available.

About You

The successful candidate will be a well-organised self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills, a demonstrated can-do attitude, and the ability to pass and maintain pre-employment medical assessments and drug and alcohol testing.

Ideal Candidates Will Have Experience With:

• Caterpillar

• Komatsu

• John Deere

• Hitachi

You will also be able to demonstrate the following:

• Strong commitment to safety

• Can work both as part of a team and autonomously when required

• Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology, or equivalent.

• Demonstrated experience with a wide range of wheeled and tracked heavy mobile plants, including yellow gear machinery.

• Minimum manual HR - open class driver’s license

• Full Working Rights in Australia (candidates with a valid working visa will be considered)

• Current National Police Clearance (no older than 6 months)

• Eager to learn new skills

• Experience with maintaining relevant records
