Farm Mechanic

Founded in 1952, Paspaley is a diverse group of companies. Whilst its core business is pearling, including pearl production, wholesale and retail, it also has extensive involvement in the aviation industry, the rural industry and commercial property.
Our pearling operation is extensive and spans coastal regions from Exmouth, WA around to the north of Darwin, NT. Our pearl farms are positioned amongst some of the world's most spectacular coastline and unique marine environments.
We seek an experienced, reliable and qualified mechanic to work as part of our Engineering Team to assist with the refit and servicing of our pearling vessels and associated machinery.

Key responsibilities:

• Working on shell cleaning boats, mechanic repairs and servicing

• maintenance of onsite machinery

The successful candidates must:

• Hold al Mechanic trade qualification

• Hold a current driver’s license

• Have Australian Citizenship or Residency with full work rights

• Be able to pass a Pre Employment medical and Drug and Alcohol test

• Be a resident of Broome or willing to relocate.

Desirable but not essential:

• Hold a current High Risk Forklift Ticket

• Hold a Construction White Card

• Hold a Confined Workspace qualification

• Hold a Work at Heights qualification
