About the role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Part-time (2 days per week) Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support across the employee lifecycle and contributing to the delivery of high - quality, timely and professional HR services.
Key responsibilities
Provide administrative support across all stages of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, induction, employee changes, and offboarding.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in accordance with organisational policies and legislative requirements.
Assist with recruitment activities, including job postings, interview coordination, reference checks, and candidate communication.
Respond to employee and manager HR enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Assist in the implementation and administration of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives.
Support learning and development, performance management, and employee engagement activities.
Prepare HR reports, data, and correspondence as required.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance HR service delivery and operational effectiveness.
Champion and promote the organisation’s mission, values, and behaviours in all interactions.
About you
Minimum tertiary qualification in relevant field of administration/HR Management/Business.
2 + years of HR administrative experience.
Proven ability to interpret and apply Awards and/or other industrial agreements, providing advice to management and employees.
Understand the application of policies and procedures.
A proactive, professional with strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach.
Able to show initiative within a team environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High level of attention to detail and ability to prioritise and multi-task.
An understanding of and complete commitment to confidentiality.
Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
