Property & Housing | Sydney CBD Permanent full-time position
Applications close Sunday 16th August 2026. We encourage early applications, as interviews may commence before the closing date.
Build the future of asset management at one of Australia's largest not-for-profit organisations.
Some roles maintain assets.
This one transforms how an entire organisation manages them.
Uniting is embarking on a significant evolution of its Property & Housing function, moving from a traditional maintenance-focused model to a strategic, intelligence-led approach to asset management. We're looking for an experienced Head of Asset Management to lead that transformation.
Reporting to the Director Property & Housing, you'll shape the long-term strategy for a substantial and diverse property portfolio that supports thousands of people across NSW and the ACT. You'll influence how investment decisions are made, how assets perform throughout their lifecycle, and how data, sustainability, and customer outcomes drive every major decision.
This is an outstanding opportunity to build a modern, best-practice asset management function that will have lasting impact across one of Australia's most respected purpose-led organisations.
The opportunity
As Head of Asset Management, you'll provide strategic leadership across the entire asset lifecycle, ensuring our property portfolio continues to deliver safe, sustainable, and high-performing environments for the people we support.
A key priority will be leading the transition to a fully outsourced maintenance operating model while building an asset management function centred on long-term planning, asset intelligence, governance, and evidence-based investment.
Working closely with Executive leaders, Capital Works, Finance, and external partners, you'll ensure our assets continue to deliver value for our residents, clients, employees, and communities.
