Contractor Trainee Pole Inspector

Service Stream Maintenance currently have positions in Sydney for trainee asset inspection contractors interested in learning the skills required to become a power pole inspector in a niche market.

You will be reporting to the Project Manager and working in Sydney or The Upper Hunter.

To be a successful participant you’ll be a subcontractor and are required to be set up with a PTY LTD company; you also will have your own work-related 4WD vehicle/ hand tools combined with all the relevant and required insurances. The traineeship usually takes approx. 3 months, and you will be paid a competitive hourly rate to complete this traineeship and to become a qualified pole inspector. Once qualified you will then be working on a schedule of rates contract where you control your own earning capacity.

Essential Requirements:

• Own 4WD vehicle ute

• PTY LTD Company with ABN

• Relevant insurances - Workers compensation and Public Liability.

• Current Drivers Licence

• Clear police check no older than 6 months.

• OH&S White Card
