• 8:6 (or flexible) Roster FIFO from Perth
• $180,000 Salary plus Super and vehicle
• S26 Statutory Supervisor required or to be obtained

VM Drilling is a privately owned RC drilling company based in Kalgoorlie, serving clients throughout Western Australia. VM Drilling was established in 2004 as a one rig company and has grown organically to a reputable mid-size company. Today the business is operating up to 10+ Rigs and possesses extensive experience within the mining industry.

Key Responsibilities Include but not limited to:

• Demonstrate a hands-on approach to supervising and leading multiple teams of drilling and operational crews for exploration drilling
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, displaying strong organisation, future planning, problem solving and team leadership 
• Ability to train and mentor drillers and offsiders
• Troubleshoot operational, logistical and mechanical issues
• Liaise and coordinate with the client
• “Boots on ground” position with a strong admin team providing support in the office.
• Maintain accurate records and reports on daily operations
• Conduct toolbox meetings, risk assessments, and incident investigations
• Contribute to a strong safety culture

Position Minimum Requirements

• 12 months minimum experience Supervising drill rigs
• Hands on RC Drilling experience
• S26 required or to be obtained
• HR-B Drivers License Minimum
• Cert IV in Drilling Operations preferred
• First Aid Certificate
• Must be able to pass pre-employment medical
• National Police Clearance required
• Full Working Rights in Australia and residential address within Western Australia.
