A little bit about the role:

As one school from ELC to Year 12, and a PYP school in the early years, Shore is committed to nurturing curiosity, confidence and connection from the very beginning of a boy’s learning journey. This role plays an important part in strengthening that experience for our youngest Preparatory School students.

You will be a visible and trusted presence across the K,1,2 community, leading teaching staff, guiding student wellbeing and pastoral matters, partnering with families and ensuring the smooth daily operation of this vibrant part of the Preparatory School. With a teaching allocation of approximately 0.5 FTE, the role remains close to the classroom, allowing you to model excellent practice and stay deeply connected to the learning experience of young students.

• Bring a strong understanding of contemporary primary education, wellbeing and the needs of young learners
• Inspire confidence in others through calm, visible and relational leadership
• Support teaching excellence through coaching, collaboration, professional learning and clear expectations
• Coordinate campus operations with calm organisation, sound judgement and attention to detail
• Model service, humility, courage and care in a way that reflects Shore’s ethos
