Kitchen Preparation hand

Prepare fresh fruit and vegetables according to specifications.

Operate food processing  equipment safely and correctly.

Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and food safety in accordance with HACCP procedures.

Maintain a clean and organised work area throughout the shift

Work efficiently to meet daily production deadlines.

Work cooperatively with other kitchen and warehouse team members.

Assist with general kitchen duties as required.

Note: This is primarily a food preparation role and does not involve cooking.

Previous experience in a production kitchen, food preparation or fresh produce environment is preferred.

Good knife skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast paced environment.

Reliable, punctual and physically fit.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The role will primarily be rostered on weekdays, with some weekend work required depending on production requirements.

Successful candidates can purchase personal fruit and vegetables at 50% of wholesale price and some grocery items, all meat and seafood at a heavily reduced price.
