Job DescriptionAbout the RoleGoodwin is looking for an experienced Business Analyst – ICT Transformation Partner to join our Transformation Delivery Team and help deliver strategic initiatives aligned with our 2026–2031 Strategic Roadmap.This is an exciting opportunity for a business analyst who enjoys working at the intersection of people, processes, systems and technology and wants to play a key role in delivering meaningful transformation in an organisation that makes a difference to the lives of older Australians.You’ll work closely with business leaders, frontline teams, ICT, vendors and other stakeholders to understand business needs, identify opportunities for improvement and translate complex requirements into practical, sustainable solutions.
About the roleAs the Business Analyst – ICT Transformation Partner, you will:Analyse business processes, systems, integrations, data flows and technology-enabled processes to identify opportunities for improvement.Elicit, document and validate business, functional, non-functional and technology-related requirements.Develop problem statements, options analyses, business cases and recommendations to support informed decision-making.Identify risks, dependencies, impacts and opportunities associated with transformation initiatives.Facilitate workshops, interviews and stakeholder consultation to support discovery, requirements definition and solution design.Work collaboratively with ICT and delivery teams to define solution scope, acceptance criteria and implementation dependencies.Support testing, data migration, user readiness, transition and implementation activities.Contribute to governance, reporting, benefits realisation and post-implementation reviews.Help ensure solutions are user-centred, evidence-based, operationally sustainable and aligned with Goodwin’s strategic and business outcomes.You’ll act as a trusted bridge between business and technology, providing ICT-informed advice while working within established ICT governance, decision-making and accountability frameworks.
Desired Skills and ExperienceAbout youWe’re looking for someone who brings strong business analysis capability and can confidently navigate complex, multi-stakeholder environments.You will have:A tertiary qualification in business, information systems, ICT or a related discipline.Demonstrated experience delivering change across people, process and systems.Experience supporting ICT-enabled transformation, system implementation, upgrades, integrations or digital platform initiatives.Strong requirements elicitation, process analysis, documentation, traceability and solution validation skills.A sound understanding of ICT systems, integrations, data, cybersecurity, operational support and technology delivery lifecycles.The ability to translate business needs into clear requirements and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Strong analytical, problem-solving and written and verbal communication skills.The confidence to challenge assumptions, identify risks and present clear options for decision-making.
Experience in a Transformation Office, PMO, ICT, Business Improvement or aged care environment will be highly regarded, as will exposure to data and analytics, enterprise digital platforms, vendor engagement, testing, transition planning and BAU support models.
