Baby Room Assistant | Brookvale | 4-5 Days Per Week

About Us

We are a warm, welcoming childcare service located in the heart of Brookvale, dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn, play, and grow. Our team is passionate about early childhood education and committed to building strong relationships with children, families, and each other.

We're currently looking for a caring and enthusiastic Baby Room Assistant to join our team on a 4 or 5 day per week basis.

About the Role

As a Baby Room Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting our youngest learners during their first steps in early education. Working alongside our Baby Room Educators, you will help create a safe, loving, and engaging environment where every child feels valued and supported.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate learning experiences for infants
• Support daily routines including feeding, sleep, and nappy changes
• Build genuine, caring relationships with children and their families
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment in line with regulatory standards
• Work collaboratively with the Baby Room team and wider service
• Support documentation and observations in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

About You

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care 
• A genuine passion for working with babies and infants
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to obtain)
• A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• Child protection certification
