Senior Water Engineer - TUFLOW Flood Modeller

The role offers a clear and structured career pathway, with the opportunity to become a technical lead within the Hydrology and Hydraulics team and, over time, progress into a broader Regional or National leadership position.
Project exposure is diverse and technically challenging, including:

• Flood studies and hydraulic analysis.
• Drainage and stormwater design.
• Water and sewer network modelling and analysis.
• Stormwater management and water-sensitive urban design (WSUD). Hydraulic structures design.
• Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modelling.

The organisation is recognised as a leader in the flood modelling and water infrastructure space, with TUFLOW and HEC-RAS deeply embedded throughout project delivery and technical development.

About You

• Civil Engineering degree.
• 6-10+ years of experience in hydrology, hydraulics, flooding or drainage engineering.
• Strong capability in hydraulic and flood modelling.
• Experience using TUFLOW, HEC-RAS or similar software.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• A genuine interest in developing technical expertise and contributing to complex project outcomes.
