BUSINESS MANAGER NORTHERN TASMANIA

Foamland is a proudly Tasmanian owned and operated business supplying the furnishing industry at a retail and wholesale level with stores in Launceston and Hobart.

Our stores in Hobart and Launceston service both retail and trade customers. We have a large foam processing facility incorporated in our Launceston store.

Foam processing is our core activity, but additionally, we sell a vast array of items including upholstery supplies, rubber products, carpet, fabrics, vinyls and adhesives. We also provide an in house upholstery service.

We are looking for a dynamic person to take on the management of our Northern Tasmanian operations. You will be a hands on person who likes to lead from the front. You should have a track record of developing new business with the ability of liaising with customers at all levels.

Day to day duties will involve dealing with retail and trade customers, and managing work flow. There will be administrative duties including stock ordering, record keeping, and preparation of financial reports. Business development will involve regular visits to existing and potential clients.

Experience in the foam industry is not necessary, but some relevant industry experience would be an advantage. If you have the required management skills, please make contact outlining your experience and we can discuss the position further.
