Success for us isn't about awards or growth, it's when we deliver so well that our customers are proud to wear a McNab T-Shirt on weekends!About the RoleBased in our Gold Coast office, the Senior Estimator will play a hands-on leadership role in developing winning strategies, collaborating with key stakeholders, and delivering high-quality cost planning across repeat work, ECI opportunities, and hard dollar tenders.Key Responsibilities:Lead the preparation of cost plans, tenders and pricing strategies across repeat work, ECI and hard dollar opportunities.Work closely with project teams and stakeholders to develop winning bid strategies and support successful outcomes.Contribute hands-on estimating expertise across a broad portfolio of projects, including multi-residential, retail and industrial developments typically within the range of $10M-$200M range.Review project requirements, risks and commercial opportunities to ensure accurate, competitive and well-considered submissions.Maintain and leverage a strong subcontractor and supplier network across key markets and trades to support competitive tendering and informed pricing.Prepare subcontractor packages and the bill of quantities.Provide leadership and guidance to others within the estimating function, supporting collaboration and continuous improvement.Build strong relationships across the business to help shape bids, strengthen delivery and support growth.
About YouStrong demonstratable Estimating experience within multi-residential, retail, and industrial.Commercially astute with excellent judgement and attention to detail.Confident across cost planning, repeat work, ECI and hard dollar tendering.Strong communicator, with effective relationship and stakeholder management skills.Ability to develop competitive, informed bids across a range of markets and trades.Background in Quantity Surveying or related discipline highly desirableProficient in CostX or similar estimating software.
