The Glen Hotel is seeking an experienced casual Duty Manager to join our award-winning venue in Eight Mile Plains. We're an all-encompassing destination featuring our Deck Bar, Charles Baker Coffee & Donut Shop, Lily Restaurant, Gaming Room, 4.5-star accommodation as well as 5 diverse event spaces.  

The Glen is an independent venue, owned by the same family for over 64 years. We are an essential part of our local community, and our team has a genuine passion for hospitality - creating a place where customers feel welcome and comfortable, with a focus on delivering exceptional service alongside our strong food and beverage offerings.

About The Role

We're looking for someone with a background in large multifaceted venues who knows how to communicate and connect with regulars and our awesome team to bring it all together. This is your opportunity to be part of something special in a dynamic, award-winning environment.

What to expect:

• This is not (totally) an office job – our Managers are "hands-on" which is critical to stay in touch with the customer's experience in the venue

• Great remuneration in line with your experience and skills

 Minimum Requirements

We're looking for:

• Experience in medium to high-volume hospitality venues

• Ability to delegate and control a busy venue

• Gaming experience is highly desired

• Excellent communication and innovation

• A genuine passion and enthusiasm for our industry
