Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our Corporate Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging accounting professional looking to develop their technical skills while gaining exposure to a diverse portfolio of hotel and property operations across Australia and New Zealand.

About the Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support the Accounting and Finance Reporting Team with a broad range of accounting and financial administration responsibilities, including:

Managing accounts receivable and debtor reportingSupporting month-end and year-end financial processesPreparing reconciliations, financial schedules and statutory reportingAssisting with tax, insurance and compliance requirementsPartnering with internal stakeholders to provide finance support and resolve queriesContributing to process improvement initiatives and special projectsExpected Hours: Full time, 38 hours per week

Location: Minor Hotels Australasia, 266 George Street, Brisbane, QLD 4000

Salary: $75,000-80,000 (excluding super)
