We are seeking an exceptional law student in their final or penultimate year of study to join our Sydney-based team. The vacancy arises from one of our current researchers completing her qualifications and transitioning to a full time role as an admitted lawyer. The research role is on a casual basis for about 15-20 hours per week with the the option of additional work during academic holidays.

The work involves supporting our senior lawyers by:

• conducting legal research

• assisting with the updating of existing products and services

• drafting legal and compliance documents

• assisting with the preparation of compliance training programs

The ideal candidate will have strong legal research and writing skills and an excellent academic record. We are looking for a person who is eager to learn and has a positive approach.

This is an entry level position ad the firm is committed to training and mentoring junior staff. The firm prides itself on maintaining a healthy work/lifestyle balance. The successful candidate will be considered for a fulltime graduate solicitor role following admission.
