General Construction Labourer/Delivery Driver

Distinctive Building Products Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable, hardworking and motivated General Construction Labourer / Delivery Driver to join our team on a full-time basis.

This is a varied role involving deliveries of construction materials, warehouse duties, general labouring and assisting our installation crews on residential and commercial construction projects throughout the Perth metropolitan area.

Your responsibilities will include:

·         Collecting materials from suppliers.

·         Delivering construction materials to residential and commercial building sites.

·         Loading and unloading plasterboard, pressed metal panels, steel framing, insulation and ceiling products.

·         Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse.

·         Assisting installation crews with general labouring duties.

·         Moving materials around construction sites.

·         Site cleaning and waste removal.

·         Operating company vehicles safely and professionally.

·         Assisting with stock control and warehouse organisation.

·         Following all Work Health and Safety requirements.

• To be successful, you will:

·         Hold a current unrestricted WA Driver’s Licence.

·         Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

·         Be physically fit and capable of manual handling.

·         Be reliable and punctual.

·         Be able to work both independently and within a team.

·         Take pride in your work.

·         Have excellent communication skills.

·         Be committed to safe work practices.

·         Construction White Card.

·         Forklift Licence.

·         Working at Heights.

·         Elevated Work Platform (EWP).

·         First Aid Certificate.

·         Experience working on residential and commercial construction sites.
