Location: Phillip Island, Victoria, onsite.

Employment: Type: Part-time – 0.6 FTE

Reports to: Head of Operations & Administration

Christian Youth Camps is seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join our Head Office team

The position is permanent Part-time – 0.6 FTE.

About Us:

Christian Youth Camps Ltd (CYC) exists to create opportunities for all people to personally encounter the living God through camping, conferencing, facilities, and programs.

CYC operates 6 campsites, being CYC The Island, CYC Phillip Island Adventure Resort, CYC Forest Edge, CYC Adanac, CYC City and CYC Blue Lagoon.

Across our sites we host schools, churches and numerous other groups in addition to running outreach holiday camps and offering leadership development programs. These sites are supported by our CEO and Head Office team, based on Phillip Island.

About the Role:

The Administrative Officer is responsible for coordinating all details and logistics of implementing our Training & Development programs across CYC. They also ensure training and competency records for CYC staff across all levels are kept up to date.

Key Duties include:

• Coordinating logistics around booking, hosting, and running CYC training & development events.

• I ensure that all Training & Development strategies are in line with CYC’s values and objectives.

• I regularly consult with the relevant supervisors and staff in relation to training & development needs.

• I research and recommend training programs based on the training needs identified, ensuring that they align with CYC’s objectives.

The successful applicant must have the following:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an administrative role

• Proficient in the use of cloud-based software

• A high level of attention to detail

• The ability to maintain confidentiality

• Be able to use your initiative to achieve work goals

• Ability to work well in a team environment
