Due to the growing demand for our services, we are expanding our operations team and are seeking a reliable, motivated, and customer-focused individual to fill the key role of a Fleet Controller.
Position DetailsPosition: Fleet Controller
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday Location: Clayton
About the role
The successful applicant will ideally have experience within the transport industry, preferably the same-day courier sector. Working closely with our Operations Manager, you will play an important role in coordinating fleet movements, supporting drivers, and delivering excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities
Maintain a positive and professional attitude with excellent communication skills.
Assist drivers and clients with operational enquiries and support.
Dispatch and manage fleet movements efficiently.
Route drivers to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
Learn and operate our modern dispatch and management systems.
Complete general administrative duties.
Assist with warehouse and depot operations as required.
Perform pickups and deliveries when required using a company vehicle.
Contribute to a safe, productive, and team-oriented work environment.
About you
Previous experience in the transport, logistics, or courier industry (preferred).
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
A current and valid Australian driver's licence.
Full working rights in Australia (Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident).
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
