Storeperson - Security Door & Window Manufacturer

• Brisbane Northside, Banyo with onsite parking

• Full-time (38hrs per week)

• Shifts are - Mon to Thu 6.00am to 2.30pm, Friday's 6.00am to 12.00pm

About Prowler Proof

Prowler Proof is Queensland’s largest manufacturer of aluminium security doors and windows, operating in Banyo for over 40 years.  All our security screens are manufactured by more than 25 specialty workstations in a fully automated and world class factory.  

About the role  

We are looking for an experienced Storeperson to assist our Warehouse Supervisor

Duties include:

• Timely production workstation replenishment with warehouse and bulk storage stock

• Safe and timely unloading of container deliveries

• Goods inward coordination, distribution and storage

• Coordination of stock placement, labelling and rotation

• Assist with stocktake processes, faulty goods returns and inventory management

• Coordinate scrap, waste and recycling processing

About you:

To be successful in this role you must:

• have a valid Forklift licence

• be reliable and willing to work

• have a valid drivers licence and reliable vehicle

• be available for a 6am start time

• be punctual

• be able to lift 20kg comfortably

• be comfortable working with technology

• be keen to work and eager to learn new skills

• be able to keep up in fast paced environments

Wage rate

Casual factory hands are paid at the casual award starting rate of $33.05 per hour under the Manufacturing and Associated Industries and Occupations Award 2020 (MA000010).  

Pathway to permanent employment

Casual employees demonstrating exceptional skills and self-leadership qualities will be provided an opportunity to fast-track to the security of permanent, full-time employment with multi-tiered pay structure.
