Experienced Concreter Crew Leader

About the Role
Premier Concrete Group Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Concrete Crew Leader & Concreters for a full-time role based in Hallam, VIC.

While this is a hands-on position, your primary focus will be managing a high-performing slab crew, organizing day-to-day site operations, and ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standard and on schedule. You will be the vital link between our clients, the site crew, and management.

What you’ll be doing:

• Team Leadership: Directing, motivating, and delegating tasks efficiently to the crew on-site to keep projects moving smoothly.

• Site Management: Overseeing daily site operations, preparing the site, and ensuring strict adherence to timelines and quality control.

• Workflow Coordination: Organizing materials, coordinating equipment (including concrete pumps and excavation), and managing the workflow from prep to pour and finish.

• Quality Control: Ensuring concrete placement, levelling, and finishing meet company standards, while overseeing the curing and site-handover process.

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience as a Leading Hand, Crew Leader, or Site Supervisor in concrete construction (specifically slabs).

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to confidently command a site and delegate tasks efficiently.

• Excellent communication skills—presents professionally to clients and collaborates reliably with management.

• Punctual, highly organized, and reliable with a strong work ethic.

• Strong physical fitness and stamina to perform physically demanding work

• Ability to work safely and in compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to find the best solutions
