About the role
The New South Wales Nurses and Midwives’ Association (NSWNMA) is the registered union for all nurses and midwives in NSW. The Association represents the industrial interests of nurses and midwives employed in NSW in the public, private, aged care and primary healthcare sectors. Our role is to protect the interests of nurses, midwives and the nursing and midwifery professions.

As an Organiser/Bargaining Campaign Officer, you will play a central role in growing the union and building collective power across private hospitals and aged care workplaces. Working within the Organising Private Hospitals and Aged Care Team, you will support the development of sustainable union structures within and across sites, employers and sectors.
Your work will directly contribute to achieving the NSWNMA Strategic Plan objectives through organising, campaigning, member mobilisation, and workplace leadership development. You will support members to build and exercise power to change their lives and their workplaces for the better.
