Project Manager

About the role

You will take ownership of delivering a finished electrical product which will be constructed in our facility in Western Sydney.

This is a Project Manager role where you will take responsibility of projects. This starts with understanding customers' requirements through to delivering the finished product to the customer.

Key responsibilities

• Developing and harnessing factory teams to work efficiently as a team to complete the project on time and on budget

• Understanding the scope, programme, construction and delivery risks

• Developing construction methods, logistics and resourcing plans

• Managing subcontractors, suppliers and project interfaces

• Owning programme, budget, forecasting and delivery performance

• Leading client and consultant meetings and managing these relationships

• Identifying and manage risks at an early stage

• Managing quality, safety and environmental requirements throughout the project

• Managing defects, Customer handover, Operating manuals, as-built drawings and final project closeout

About you

• 10+ years' project management experience in construction, civil or engineering projects

• Experience managing teams and project interfaces

• Strong understanding of programme, cost, risk, quality and safety

• The ability to identify issues early and deal with them before they become problems

• Strong commercial and contractual awareness

• Confidence dealing directly with clients, consultants and subcontractors

• Sound technical judgement and an understanding of construction methodology and buildability

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• The ability to manage competing priorities while keeping the project moving

• Relevant construction management or engineering qualifications, current driver's licence and White Card
