About the Role:   

Reporting to the Aftersales Supply Chain Manager, in the Parts Accessories and Logistics Department, the Aftersales Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for analysing and optimising the performance of the aftersales supply chain across Australia and New Zealand.

The role provides hands on operational and analytical support for warehouse operations, transport, inventory, and supplier performance, ensuring operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

About the Role:  

Reporting to the Aftersales Supply Chain Manager, in the Parts Accessories and Logistics Department, the Aftersales Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for analysing and optimising the performance of the aftersales supply chain across Australia and New Zealand.

The role provides hands on operational and analytical support for warehouse operations, transport, inventory, and supplier performance, ensuring operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain and analyse Supply Chain KPIs and operational dashboards. Produce weekly and monthly reports covering warehouse, transport, inventory and supplier performance.
• Analyse service levels, fill rate, backorders, inventory health and logistics costs, providing recommendations for improvements.
• Regularly review inventory levels across Australia and New Zealand to identify stock imbalances, excess inventory, and potential stock shortages. Monitor transfer orders from initiation through to receipt.
• Monitor warehouse performance across Melbourne Parts Distribution Centre (PDC) and 3PL warehouses
• Analyse warehouse productivity including Receiving performance, Put-away, Picking, Despatch, Inventory accuracy, Returns processing.
• Monitor transport performance across all carriers and distribution partners.
• Maintain the national VOR register, review all open VOR orders daily and prepare VOR reporting for weekly management meetings.
• Conduct regular warehouse capacity and utilisation analysis for GWM-owned Warehouse
• Analyse current and forecast requirements for storage capacity, inbound volumes, outbound volumes, picking activity, labour and operational throughput.
• Identify opportunities to improve supply chain processes through data analysis.
• Develop automation tools and reporting solutions to reduce manual effort and enhance efficiency.

Skills and Experience:

• Qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, transport and inventory management.
• Experience with KPI reporting and operational performance analysis.
• Experience within automotive aftersales or OEM supply chain highly desirable.
• Experience with Pentana IDS/MDS, WMS, Power BI, and SQL highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capability.
• Continuous improvement mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Power Pivot, formulas).
• Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
