Warehouse & Administration Assistant

Jimy Industrial Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and adaptable Warehouse & Administration All-Rounder to join our team in Dudley Park.

This is a varied, hands-on position combining warehouse operations, order fulfilment, freight coordination, customer service and general administration. Throughout the day, you may move between working at a computer, assisting customers, preparing freight paperwork and helping in the warehouse.

The position would suit someone who is practical and organised, comfortable using computers and willing to assist wherever needed to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders accurately and efficiently

• Receiving deliveries and checking incoming stock

• Loading and unloading deliveries using a forklift

• Assisting with container unloading, stock replenishment and general warehouse duties

• Conducting stock counts and maintaining accurate warehouse locations and inventory records

• Preparing dispatch paperwork and coordinating courier bookings, collections and deliveries

• Providing routine freight estimates and assisting with order processing

• Completing data entry, filing, spreadsheets and document management

• Answering phone calls and responding to customer emails professionally

• Assisting with routine customer, order and product enquiries

• Coordinating product returns and warranty claims, with technical and commercial decisions escalated to management

• Assisting customers in the showroom when required

• Working closely with warehouse and office staff to maintain an efficient workflow

• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised warehouse, office and showroom

• Assisting with other warehouse and administrative duties as operational priorities change

The successful candidate will have:

• A current forklift licence or the willingness and ability to obtain one within an agreed timeframe

• Confidence using computers, email, web-based systems and basic spreadsheets

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage changing priorities

• Excellent attention to detail, particularly when handling stock, orders and paperwork

• Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills

• Practical problem-solving skills and the ability to recognise when an issue should be escalated

• The ability to work independently and contribute positively as part of a team

• The physical capability to safely perform warehouse duties, including handling bulky items and moving stock

• A reliable and punctual approach with consistent follow-through

• A positive, flexible attitude and willingness to assist across different areas of the business

Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, dispatch, customer service or administration would be advantageous but is not essential.
