NO FRILLS FOODMARKET - Casual Foodmarket Assistant

No Frills Foodmarket is a food wholesaler that sells direct to the public. We pride ourselves on providing a unique product offering and maintaining excellent standards of customer service. 

The successful applicant for this position must have prior sales / shop floor experience, have neat presentation and be able to assist in creating a warm and friendly shopping atmosphere for our customers. 

The primary purpose of the position is to serve customers, assist to maintain the stock levels on display, assist in ensuring the store is well presented, clean and tidy at all times and to assist in the efficient receiving and storage of incoming goods.

What the role involves;

• Serving customers

• Maintaining stock levels in Foodmarket and storage areas

• Cleaning

• General warehouse duties in freezer, ambient and cool room environments

We are looking for a team player who;

• Can work flexible hours Monday to Saturday

• Has prior experience in a retail environment

• Is quick on the uptake - to learn where stock is located

• Is numerate and literate, able to work efficiently and meet customer requirements.

• Gets on well with a wide range of people (both customers and staff)

• Enjoys being part of a team

• Is comfortable with physical activity such as lifting and carrying.
