Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to join Evia Yoghurt Co. Pty Ltd in our new Pemulwuy facility. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to lead and manage warehouse operations within a dynamic manufacturing and logistics environment. As Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient daily operations, maintaining safety standards, and supporting the achievement of company objectives. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of warehouse staff, optimising inventory management, and ensuring that all products are handled, stored and dispatched according to company standards and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage warehouse staff, including task allocation, performance monitoring and team development

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing and despatch of products

• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits to ensure accuracy and efficiency

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies across all warehouse activities

• Implement and monitor quality control procedures to maintain product integrity

• Optimise warehouse layout and storage systems to maximise space utilisation and accessibility

• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within warehouse operations

• Maintain equipment and facilities in good working order, reporting any maintenance issues promptly

• Prepare reports on warehouse performance metrics and KPIs for management review

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role within manufacturing or logistics servicing major retailers.

• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems, inventory control and stock management procedures

• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop a team effectively

• Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

• Sound understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance requirements

• Proficiency in using warehouse management software and standard computer applications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Problem-solving ability and decision-making capability in a fast-paced environment

• Physical capability to perform warehouse duties and work in varying temperature conditions

• Current driving licence is desirable
