An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated and reliable individual to commence a Light Vehicle Mechanical Apprenticeship with Trusty Motors, an established automotive repair and maintenance workshop located in Willetton.

Trusty Motors services and repairs a wide range of passenger and light commercial vehicles and provides a supportive learning environment where apprentices can develop valuable industry skills while working alongside experienced mechanics.

As an Apprentice Light Vehicle Mechanic, you will gain hands on experience while completing a nationally recognised qualification. You will work closely with qualified mechanics and learn all aspects of vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs in a busy workshop environment.

• Assist qualified mechanics with vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs
• Carry out basic vehicle inspections and diagnostic checks
• Perform oil and filter changes, tyre fitting, brake servicing and component replacements under supervision
• Learn to safely operate workshop tools and equipment
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
• Attend TAFE and successfully complete all apprenticeship training requirements

• Current Australian driver's licence or working towards obtaining one
• A pre-apprenticeship in Automotive Studies is desirable but not essential
• Eligibility to undertake a full time apprenticeship in Australia
