lyf Bondi Junction is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and dedicated person to join as a Full - Time, Chef De Partie. This role will report to the Head Chef and work closely with the team and guests to deliver exceptional guest experience.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Leading the preparation and presentation of dishes within your assigned section, ensuring consistency with recipes, portioning, and plating standards.

• Supporting menu innovation by collaborating with the Chef team, incorporating seasonal produce and modern culinary trends.

• Supervising and coaching junior kitchen staff, fostering skill development while ensuring adherence to hygiene and safety protocols.

• Monitoring stock levels, coordinating orders, and implementing waste-minimisation practices to maintain cost-effective operations.

• Upholding kitchen standards by ensuring compliance with food safety, sanitation regulations, and workplace health requirements.

To be successful in this role you must have:

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent role in a high-volume or fine-dining environment.

• Strong technical skills across a variety of cooking methods, with the ability to deliver high-quality dishes under pressure.

• Solid understanding of food safety, HACCP, and occupational health and safety practices.

• Effective communication and leadership skills to guide and motivate team members in a fast-paced kitchen.

• Flexibility, adaptability, and a collaborative approach to support different kitchen sections and operational demands.
