Field Assistants / Offsiders

MDP is Western Australia’s leading test pumping and water services contractor with long term agreements in place with the major mining companies. Due to the expansion of our fleet, we are seeking applications for FIFO field based roles within our business. These roles would suit experienced offsiders and dewatering field technicians looking for career development opportunities with a market leading service provider.

Our patented pumping and water transfer systems are instrumental in ensuring the business maintains one of the best safety records in the industry.

Role Benefits:

• Flexible FIFO rosters: Even time 2 weeks on 2 weeks off, 1 week on 1 week off, or 2 weeks on 1 week off

Role Summary:

• Assist Operator with submersible pump installations using MDP’s patented system

• Assist Operator with installation of temporary water transfer infrastructure

• Contribute to maintaining industry leading safety and technical performance

• Driving heavy vehicles

Position Requirements:

• HR Drivers Licence (essential upon application)

• First Aid, Basic Fire Extinguishing & 4WD training (essential upon in-field commencement)

• Previous experience working in a FIFO environment would be well regarded

• Pass pre employment medical and drug / alcohol testing

• Approved Police Clearance and unrestricted access to client mine sites

• Exposure to mine site safety compliance systems would be highly desirable
