CDA is seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics, Mobile Plant Mechanics or Fitters General to join our Wetherill Park workshop in Sydney.

The role

As a Heavy Diesel Mechanics, Mobile Plant Mechanics or Fitter General,  you will join a professional service team committed to delivering an exceptional standard of service to our customers.

Based in our Wetherill Park workshop, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective repair, servicing, maintenance, and diagnostics of machinery, plant, and equipment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planned and preventative maintenance
• Fault finding and diagnostics
• Workshop repairs and servicing
• Field service work
• Machinery fit-outs and installations
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard

What you’ll need to succeed

• Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Fitter General, Plant Mechanic, or similar (essential)
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A valid Australian driver’s licence
• Electrical knowledge and experience (preferred, but not essential)
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
